Yorkies! Our university only turns 50 once! Join in the celebrations! Check out the 50+50 Symposium, you may get a chance to meet awesome Canadian author Margaret Atwood. Also, lots of very neat Power of 50 campaign items available online and at the bookstore too. A book with the history of York University was just released -- York University: The Way Must be Tried. Yes, Tentanda Via! =) You know I'm a super nerd because I'm kind of excited about ordering that one. LOL. There was a really good article in the York University magazine about the University's history...a must read for all Yorkies -- it's available all over campus (and in your mailbox for alumni!) Oh and definitely going to pick up the College pins! One for each College -- too cool. Ah yes, and don't forget to sport your 1959 t-shirt! =P
