there's that saying about "stop living in the past." i wonder if there is one for people who are "living in the future?!" lol b/c i'm definitely not thinking in the present! i just can't wait to finish school in April and start a new adventure! i can't even think about my schoolwork right now (which is very bad lol). i'm always thinking about hmmmm where am i going to go, what am i going to do, how can i solicit persons to come with me... haha. yeh, i've got dates set out and crossing my fingers my exams end early! should i be worried that a whole bunch of other people i know aren't so excited about being all done with school? am i insane to be uber excited about the finale to my post secondary education? i'm going to miss york though...not so much the exams! in any case, yeh! instead of doing my readings i been checking out some adventures to be had ><
okay so i got a number of possibilities hehe (hopefully i won't be too broke after i pay off my osap to actually have the funds to do this :p)
i want to go to either Europe or East Asia. I've never been to the "homeland" and stuff so it'd be cool to check it out! on the other hand, who doesn't want to hit up Europe right? Plus I got to worry about major language barriers and culture shock in Asia, not as intense in Western Europe I think. but i've been to England before...but i really want to go to France and Italy
I'm thinking of plopping myself in the middle of a country and just winging the trip...but people are telling me to do a tour like Contiki...so hmmm what to do? i'm still in the process of researching...
The sucky thing about all this is i got some time limitations =(
i have 2 conferences in May with the last one NLDC (what what!) ending May 11th...then i can disappear only up until June 19th b/c that's my convocation (yay~). after convocation i think i have approx a week before my summer course starts >< yeh i'm doing a summer course b/c i decided to ease up my last semester a bit and come back for an additional month of suffering in the summer. then after summer courses ends in early Aug I got about 3 weeks before i start work. can't wait to start work! ^-^
& that would be my one and only summer until i am a full fledged CA b/c after this summer...oh man there will be no time for breaks for at least 2 years :p
oh and i also applied for Explore again. maybe i'll get that again this year and go there? i applied for UBC, Laval, and Sainte-Anne this year! lol it's probably the 4th year i've applied for Laval. I hope I get UBC!! =)

So it's been a bit over a week since coming back from NC...it was awesome!! I came back tired, exhausted, sad, happy, super excited, and totally pumped. What a mix of emotions. So much happened at conference but yet also not enough as well. NC was quite the learning experience. I met so many awesomely amazing people, from my super cool roomies to people from my own LC! Things went on that revealed the dark side of friends and also true friendship. Appreciation. I also realized a lot of things about myself (again lol) and with this new year, I'm definitely going to change things up! We voted for AIESEC Canada's new MCP...Emily Jones! Congratulations to her, well done and also a campaign well run to the other candidates! Celebrating New Years with like 300+ AIESECers was wicked! Who better to celebrate such a meaningful moment than with the AIESEC family! :) The countdown to 2008 meant so much. New year...fresh beginnings. Well I'm not really one to put feelings to words or expressing my feelings lol (hopefully that will change!) so this is it for now! Happy new year and happy birthday AIESEC Canada! It's our 50th year and we're going to kick ass! Can't wait til NLDC 2008! We will York U! ^-^
