pretty pink blossoms in my backyard :) my cute robin friend is enjoying himself. i love the springtime.

just sent $15,000 payment to pay down my osap...OUCH! i am definitely feeling the loss! >.<

i want to go on a mini break! i'm thinking somewhere in the caribbean. still waiting to find out from friends if they can go...hoping to leave next week...maybe that's the problem lol. i guess most people aren't last minute traveller like me :P

good news!

i got the job! yay! awesomeness. and i'm going to take it. even though i was still thinking about it and weighing it against the other job possibility yesterday. the deciding factor? i don't like interviews and i really don't want to go through another one! lol.

well with the summer job searching = successful, that pretty much decides that i can't go on explore (even if i get accepted). waiting list sucks because i don't have the wiggle room to wait for the spot to open up when there are all these cool jobs popping up...with the high possibility i will not get an explore spot. if i keep rejecting job offers while waiting for a spot to open up...then i am missing out on a lot of cool jobs! well anywho, its all worked out well!

& now I can go to NLDC!!! (pending approval from the EB) hurrah! super excited! =D

today is such lovely beautiful weather! the birds were especially cheerful!

had my interview today! not sure how well it went. could have been better! i should have prepped for it more (i can't believe i forgot to research more about the background of the organization *ergh* that's usually the first thing i do too >.<) well, i will find out on friday if i got it. they have to do reference checks. don't you hate reference checks? i hate reference checks. i always feel bad for the people that i put down as reference...it sucks for them b/c random people are calling them as asking so many questions! and i always feed bad about asking someone to be my reference...i feel like i am troubling them =( in any case, yes, i have a bunch of background, reference, and criminal checks that have to be done but i am scared >.<

oh ahh dillema: after i got home from said interview i got a call for another interview with another organization! and its a super cool position! now this could put me in a serious pickle because if i am fortunate enough to get the job from today's interview....which one should i choose? decline and take a risk and go to the other interview? or just take this job and forget about the other one? they are both very awesome so i don't know what i am going to do. i would love to do both! :S gah my indecisiveness is going to get me again >.< 

*sigh* i am finding it so hard to concentrate and study. so much things on my mind.
how does the mind do it? how does it keep up?

i got a new camera today (my old one kicked the bucket, may he rest in peace) but it had a dead pixel out of the box =( booo i was so excited about it too

going to get a replacement tomorrow, hopefully the new one doesn't have any problems. i always have such bad luck when i buy electronics!

summer job interview this weds....*cross fingers*...hope i get it b/c it would be wicked! (however not sure if i will get it b/c i found the job posting on the university of toronto faculty of information sciences website (ie. for information science majors! lol and i'm clearly not one)

Great photo, too bad we are missing a couple of members. Aww going to miss this. Really and truly, I'll never forget the awesome memories we have together. D&B was a great way to end off the year. My last official APAA event!! (not including the award ceremony!) Good job everyone! Well executed! =)

bloggie got a new name.
it was always an iceberg but then i had a moment's realization for a more fitting name. only the tip of the iceberg...then again its a really good description of the way we see people on a daily basis. we all put ourselves "out there" by only a certain degree. sometimes what you see isn't all what you'll get. our surface, the first layer, the little bit we allow to expose to the world is only a touch of further more. new beginnings call for new plans. over the years i've been like a locked diary and the key was chucked out intentionally. i think its time to stop hiding what is under the water and expose the further more.
