and i am finally back! NLDC was amazing, as expected. I'm so incredibly exhausted, still! So draining >< -- been waking up early everyday for a whole day of work. There hasn't been any time to recoup lol. The conference content was great -- pretty useful seminars, and cool external guest speakers (including Canadian super star athlete Brian Stemmle!) OGX track was tres useful. Can't wait to start working on plans for our IBXP. Our wonderful cheer: OGX and ICX! All we think about is SEX (i.e. Sleep Eat eXchange)! OGX and ICX! All we think about is SEX! Incoming! Outgoing! Incoming! Outgoing! ... lol you get the picture. Had a lot of fun chilling with my LC and getting to know everyone more. Chilled it up with @York more than usually at conference :p lol. I guess that is one of the advantages of going with a smaller delegation, ability to all fit into one hotel room and just talk....and of course end up being crazy silly lol.
The OC did an amazing job with the logistics and everything. *thumbs up* woot. The new microfinance opportunities sound super awesome! Anyone who can should definitely take advantage of this brilliant new opp! *sigh* I can't believe this is my last conference and by the end of summer I won't be in @ anymore :( Unfortunately the time that will be involved for preparing for my CA exams and coupled with work...I definitely wouldn't be able to remain an active member. One of the negatives of graduating!!! :( lol. I've learned a lot of stuff being in @ and was given the opportunity to meet some of the most amazing (and not to mention inspiring) peoples ever. *love a hugs* The only regret I will have with @ was not becoming a member earlier in my university career. *sigh* too late! In any case, I hope to continue to apply the skills, knowledge, and experiences I have gained in @ and forever hold close the extraordinary relationships I've been blessed with, with all my fellow AIESECers <3
